Teacher Bio

I am so excited to be a member of the Locust Grove family! This is my third year at LGHS but my 20th year teaching. I live in the Locust Grove cluster and could not be more excited to live and work in the community I love so much!

I am a mom to three kids (2 boys and 1 girl). I am also the wife of a Lutheran pastor, and the only child to parents who currently reside with me.  Our home is quite full, including our 3 dogs.  There is never a dull moment!

I believe in the true ability of every student to believe in themselves and achieve--our brain is a muscle that can grow and strengthen when properly trained. I look forward to working along side of students and their families to make this year extraordinary!
